Laura Pinckard is a self-taught professional photographer in Queensbury, NY whose work has been published locally & internationally.
Laura is SUPER down-to-earth & personable, and you’ll love her excitement as she takes stunning pictures of you and your family. Getting your photos taken can be nerve-wracking, but Laura prides herself in making the experience fun & laid back.
Family session FAQ
Where can we have our photos done?
We are located in Queensbury, NY and do most of our sessions in our studio, at a local park, or at the beach in Lake George. We also can travel to you, but there may be an additional cost depending on the location.
How long is the session?
Most of our family sessions are approximately 1 hour, but we reserve up to 2 hours just in case things take longer (e.g. a baby needs a little extra time).
How many images are included?
After your session, you will receive an online gallery with previews of your images, and you will be able to choose from three different package options. Each package includes a different number of "free downloads," but they all include access to the online gallery for up to 1 year. The number of images in your gallery depends on several factors, but we try to give you a large number to choose from.
Is there a limit on how many family members can be in the session?
Generally, family sessions include up to 10 family members, but we make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Send us an email at booking@thepinckards.com if you'd like to make sure we can accommodate a specific group.
