Why choose our studio for your baby photos?

At our photo studio, we put your experience first every time. Getting baby photos should never be stressful, chaotic, or rushed. We take our time to make sure your baby is comfortable and that you both have a good time. Our studio is also very private and quiet, so you won’t have people coming/going or watching you as we take your photos!

Our second biggest priority is delivering stunning, artistic baby photos that you will be obsessed with! We have put an extreme amount of effort into giving our studio a boho aesthetic and picking out the cutest props & decor. One of our photo rooms is dedicated specifically to baby pictures, with plenty of options for a variety of photos. We also use professional cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment to deliver stunningly high quality images.

About Newborn Sessions

  • When should I schedule my newborn / baby session?

    We recommend scheduling a complimentary Consultation Call with us as soon as you can! We usually have availability within the next week or two for a call. The best time to schedule the actual newborn session is for ~5-14 days after birth, before your baby has stretched out.

  • How soon after birth should I have my newborn session?

    The sweet spot for newborn photos is between 5-14 days after birth. This is because baby is generally the most flexible and sleepy during this time, which allows for all those adorable poses! We can absolutely take photos after 14 days - just know that your baby may be a little more stretched out and wiggly.

  • What kind of safety precautions do you take for baby photos?

    Your baby’s safety is without a doubt our #1 priority. We are extremely cautious to wash our hands before your session. Additionally, if you prefer, we are more than happy to wear face masks during your session. We just ask that you let us know ahead of time so that we can be prepared. We are also careful to sanitize between each client to ensure you and your baby are in the safest environment possible.

  • How do I book without knowing exactly when my session will take place?

    Great question! As you know, sometimes your baby has their own agenda regarding when they will make their grand entrance into the world. We'll start off with a complimentary consultation call, and then we'll add you to our VIP Scheduling List to get you in ASAP after you give birth!

  • Do you provide props and outfits for baby photos?

    Yes! We have a variety of props, outfit changes, and backdrops available for your baby session. If you have anything specific in mind, we can create a plan that fits your vision during our initial Planning Session.

  • What am I responsible for bringing to our photo session?

    While we have plenty of outfits and props on hand, we just ask that you bring the basics! Usually this includes milk, pacifier, diapers, and wipes.

  • What is the best time of day for baby photos?

    We strongly recommend scheduling your session for the morning or mid morning. The most ideal time will also depend on your baby’s sleep schedule, as we’ll want to start photos as soon after their morning nap as possible.

  • Can siblings + other family members be involved in the photos?

    We do offer family sessions where we can involve more people than just your baby. Our three baby photo options are baby only, baby + parents, and baby + family.

  • How much does a baby photography session cost?

    The cost of the photography session itself is $175. After your session, we will schedule an ordering appointment for you to choose your collections/images. The total investment depends on what you order at that appointment.

  • How soon will I receive the photos after my session?

    We will schedule a Photo Reveal + Ordering Session after your photoshoot. At that session, we will show you all of your finished photos, and you can decide which ones you'd like to purchase.

  • Where will the baby session take place? Do you travel?

    We can book an in-home session, but most baby photo sessions take place in our studio in Queensbury, NY. Pricing for in-home sessions depends on the distance we’ll need to travel. You can call us at (518)338-3129 if you have any questions!

  • What should we wear for the photos?

    We recommend any family members that will be involved in photos to stick to neutral colors or black and avoid busy patterns. This way your baby can have the spotlight in your photos.

  • Are you able to edit out skin blemishes, flaky skin, etc.?

    Definitely! We do retouching on every single image that you order, and we're more than happy to spend additional time on some images if there is severe acne, bruises, or other blemishes.

  • How long do baby photo sessions take?

    Generally we plan for roughly 120 minutes for a newborn shoot, but we don't set a strict time limit! Sometimes your baby is running the show and we’re on their timeline. You may have to take several breaks throughout the session for feedings, changing, burping, etc. We don’t want you or your baby to feel rushed throughout this process.
